Made famous by 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind.' Climbers can scale it; everyone else can walk the 1.3-mile Tower Trail loop at the base. KOA campground at the park entrance. Off US-14 in NE Wyoming, an hour west of Mount Rushmore.
