Spartanburg sits at the crossroads of I-26 and I-85, which makes it the transfer point for families heading from the mountains to the coast or vice versa. The Marriott downtown is a step up from the typical highway hotel — walkable downtown, real restaurants, and the kind of lobby where you feel like a grown-up instead of a road-trip refugee.
